After a cold and humid winter night in the mountains, in the morning, any puddle of water will freeze up, creating a thin and delicate layer of ice that is filled with a series of curves. These shapes and textures are an invitation to our eyes: walk through each line, the textures, the stones on the edges and the soil in the background.
These puddles of ice are a sign that winter is coming.
The colors explosion in this series works are a true contrast, they talk about the connections of our internal and external worlds, they are an invitation to reflect: while it is cold outside, how is the energy inside you?

In my watercolor painting process, I usually use a lot of water, which sometimes causes a ripple at some point on the paper, this is natural and is part of my creation. Once the work is framed, this undulation should not be so visible.
