This series of watercolors was born in the confinement of the 2020 quarantine, which consumed our physical and emotional health, and made me think about the challenge of remaining creative and productive during this period of so much uncertainty. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The compositions escape a little from the abstract organic that I have approached so far. Here I portray a deconstruction of the human face, simplifying its forms with the intention of awakening the observer's reflection, transmitting this whirlwind of emotions that, like a virus, spreads to anyone who is not prepared. Life moves out at a different pace. And in here, too. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Some faces of quarantine: Fear, anxiety, anguish... Immersed in weeks of an emotional roller coaster, one must look inward, listen, understand and accept. And perhaps with an intimate desire: that we all be like a phoenix.

In my watercolor painting process, I usually use a lot of water, which sometimes causes a ripple at some point on the paper, this is natural and is part of my creation. Once the work is framed, this undulation should not be so visible.
